A trucker jacket reconstructed from the ground up. No season, no collection to follow — Archive 001 is a standalone record, the first physical entry in an ongoing catalogue of VECD objects.

It begins where most garments end: as a question about what is worth keeping.

A boxed, cropped silhouette with a dropped shoulder. Twin chest pockets, side hand pockets, adjustable button tabs at the hem. The body is contrast-stitched throughout in signal red against raw indigo.

Every seam is functional. The red thread is the only ornament — and it is structural.

Raw, unwashed selvedge-weight indigo denim. Left rigid so it breaks and fades to the body of whoever wears it. No two records will age the same way.

It will fade. That is intended. The object is meant to record its wearer.

Produced in a run of twenty-four. A single workshop, few hands, no automation beyond the machines themselves. Each piece carries an interior label marked with a Roman numeral — I through XXIV — its permanent place in the record.

No two share a number. When the twenty-four are gone, Archive 001 is closed permanently.
